Did you know Buttercups represent humility, joy, new beginnings, happiness, and friendship? That's a lot for such a sweet, tiny flower. But we think it's a fitting name for this stunning, perky-eared girl. Buttercup came to us as a stray last week and we estimate her to be at least a year or so old. Is no one missing this beautiful girl??? She is a friendly, happy, wiggle-butt pup, and she is ready for a whole new beginning in a home where she can share her joy, friendship and love. Cheeto is an older guy at around 8 years of age or so, and yes, he has some lumps and bumps and warts, but they don't bother him one bit. It's just a part of becoming a wise and mature pup. Cheeto came to BAS as a stray and has a cheerful and friendly personality. He would love to share the sofa with you this weekend as you watch the big game, indulge in some yummy food, and cheer for your Super Bowl team. New foster notes, 2/21/24:
Dixie is almost finished with her heartworm treatment and is doing well but isn't allowed to get excited or play too much for another couple of weeks. She's sweet but doesn't want anyone but me to take her to potty. She loves my great grandkids who are 2 years to 10 years old. She barks when anyone comes to the house but will stop after about 2 minutes when she starts feeling comfortable. She looks out the storm door at other dogs walking by and will bark.
