Jazz is a gorgeous girl who looks like the dog version of a tiger. She runs like a big cat as well, bouncy, agile, and alert. She whined a little bit when she saw a dog in the next play yard but was otherwise pretty calm. She is the perfect medium size to climb in her person's lap and receive pets (which she did). Her coat is very soft! |

Gladdis is well mannered. She is a beautiful dog with the most expressive eyes. She loves long walks, easy jogs, neighbors and their treats, bathing in the sun, rolling in freshly mowed grass... While on a leash, Gladdis has met children that were reminded that dogs need slow introductions and have their own space around them. She met passive and playful dogs while on a leash. Ellie is a sweet senior girl. She’s is extremely friendly with people, dogs, and other animals, and is very gentle with everyone. She has some broken teeth which makes it hard for her to chew at times, so we water down her food for her. She’s completely potty trained and doesn’t bark or chew or destroy anything. She enjoys meeting new people,is cuddly and affectionate, and walks well on leash.

Dog Day Out, 1/30/24:
We took Luna for a walk through the woods near the shelter and then for a car ride to Elon University. She was somewhat timid there and seemed to want to go for another car ride.

- Walked well on leash (No or low amount of pulling)
- Did well riding in the car
