MEET MAYA!- Super Sweet & Soft

Maya is an 8-year-old is a sweet girl who would enjoy a quiet home (no dogs.) She may be fine with a cat with a slow introduction. In her previous home, she was friendly with everyone, including people she had not met before, and was described as a gentle, playful couch potato. She enjoys being petted. While here Maya was diagnosed with bladder stones, and underwent surgery to remove the stones from her bladder. She has since made a full recovery and is doing well.

Cats that have been diagnosed... Click my picture to read more about me.

Meet Ava!

Ava is a 7 year old pretty gal who loves to be petted and talked to. Her family says she is very friendly with everyone! Ava loves to sit next to you on the couch, and is appreciative when you brush her. Actually, she really loves to be brushed and will lean right in. She will require regular brushing, as she is a long-haired kitty. She is quite the rolly gal with her friends, flopping onto her side and kneading the air.

Don't judge a book by its cover... Ava's friendly personality doesn't shine through in her fac... Click my picture to read more about me.

HOME IS WHERE YOUR BARN IS!
Animal Rescue League of Boston's Barn Cat Program:

We occasionally have cats that are better suited for "barn" living than "city" living. These cats tend to fall into three categories: very shy cats, extremely active cats, and house soiling cats, who would prefer to live out their lives exploring, hunting mice, and basking in the sun, rather than being in a traditional home environment.

Our Barn Cat Program can match your facility with one or more healthy, active cats that are up to date on all of th... Click my picture to read more about me.

Meet Lacy!

Lacy has quite the playful personality! She loves to play with pretty much any toy, even a crumpled up ball of paper (those are super fun to bat around and also to chew on!). She is the type of cat who knows what she wants in life, and that's a whole box of toys and a nice chair to curl up on after she's tired herself out.

When Lacy first arrived, it took her a while to settle in (both into the shelter environment as well as a foster home). Now that she has become comfortable, she is very chatty when greeting staff... Click my picture to read more about me.

MEET SIERRA - Are you looking for a new best friend?

Sierra is a beautiful longhaired tortie girl. Sierra's story starts out a bit sad; she came to the shelter because her owner passed away. Sierra was bonded to her special human, and she is looking for a quiet home in which she can continue to be someone's faithful companion. Sierra would do best in a home without children or other animals. She enjoys being petted, but it not keen on being picked up and held. She loves being a couch potato, and would very much enjoy snuggling up to w... Click my picture to read more about me.

MEET SALMA - THE GIRL LOVES TO TALK - Check out her video to hear her!

Salma is a looker who loves nothing more than someone to talk to. She was found as a stray but apparently didn't care for the children in the home that took her in. Until she gets to know you, Salma can be a bit aloof. However, once she trusts you, Salma will reward you with lots of raspy meows and head butts to your legs. We think Salma would blossom in the quiet home of an experienced cat person who can appreciate her quirks and read her body language when she i... Click my picture to read more about me.

MEET IZZY AND SAMANTHA - Double the love!

Izzy and Samantha are a bonded pair of sisters who've been together their entire lives. Sadly, their owner passed away, which is how they've come to be at the shelter. In their previous home, they were reported to be friendly with everyone. These lovely ladies lived with other cats, so they may be fine living with a new feline friend. They are both 10 years old, spayed, and up to date on their shots. They like gentle attention and are generally friendly with most people.
