| 03 Yrs 00 Mos Spayed Female | MEET KEWPIE!
Hi I'm Kewpie! I'm a sweet but shy three year old cat. I was surrendered because in my last home I escaped a lot so my new family should keep a super close eye on me. I would prefer to go to a home where it would be difficult to get outside, like an apartment building. I would prefer a quiet adult only home. I'm really lovely but need a little time to warm up. Please come and see me in Boston!
Kewpie is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.

| 00 Yrs 07 Mos Neutered Male | MEET LITTLE CAESAR! Would REALLY Like A Cat Buddy. Check Out His Video!
Poor Little Caesar's life starts out sad. He lived much of his life in a basement and really didn't seem to be given much chance to thrive socially. He was scared and upset when he first arrived but with some gentle love and attention, he has been making steady progress. LC loves scratches to the head with a back scratcher (hands are still scary). The best observation we've made about him is his love of other cats. Check out his video to see his adorable reac... | 00 Yrs 05 Mos Spayed Female | MEET OPHIA!
Ophia is a brave kitten who was found living outside. Naturally, Ophia has a bit of whiplash going from fending for herself in the big bad world, to getting lots of attention and care from shelter staff and volunteers. It appears that Ophia likes the change, as she's settling in nicely. With a slow approach, Ophia will purr when we pet her. Because she's been through such drastic changes, we think Ophia would be best matched with someone who has the time and patience for Ophia's acclimation phase in her new home, which may ta... | 05 Yrs 02 Mos Spayed Female | MEET PEARL - Watch her video!
This Pearl of a cat lived a lonely life before coming to ARL. She spent most of her time alone in an attic space, and as a result was very shy. She spent some time in foster care, and her foster mom said: "Pearl is doing much better. When she’s really relaxed, she’ll even play with a string and eat churu off your finger." Pearl would do best in a quiet home with patient humans. Come meet this special girl at our Dedham branch.
Pearl is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutere... Click my picture to read more about me. | Dedham Shelter |
| 00 Yrs 04 Mos Spayed Female | MEET PENNE!
Penne is a little shy but warms up pretty quickly. She would likely do best in a home without any children but would love a cat friend! Penne has a few medical concerns so an adopter who has a good relationship with a vet is important. This sweet kitten is a catch, come meet her in Boston!
Penne is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.

| 00 Yrs 08 Mos Spayed Female | MEET POPPY! *I need a cat friend in my new home! *I require 2 visits before I can go home!
Poppy is what we call a "tiny tiger" - born outside and frightened of people and our unfamiliar ways. Our staff and volunteers have been working hard to socialize Poppy, and they've made great progress. She still has a way to go, and we're happy to advise and support anyone who wants to add her to their family. Poppy would do best with an experienced cat owner who can give her time and space to adjust to her new surroundings and new people... Click my picture to read more about me. | Dedham Shelter |
| 00 Yrs 11 Mos Spayed Female | MEET RILEY! *I need a cat friend in my new home! * Check Out Her Videos!
Riley arrived at the shelter having lost the only home she had known. As you can imagine she was uncertain and scared. With gentle love and attention, Riley has made some progress in her socialization but remains on the fearful side. Riley closes her eyes when we use a back scratcher on her back and is just beginning to discover how much fun it is to play (see her video). For instance, she'll reach out with one of her dainty paws when you wiggle a stri... Click my picture to read more about me. | Dedham Shelter |
| 08 Yrs 01 Mos Neutered Male | MEET RODELL - Watch his videos! *FIV+
Rodell likes to strike a regal pose to impress his subjects (which, in his mind, includes all humans). He's a benevolent ruler who left his former kingdom in Texas to conquer new territory in New England. Rodell loves to come say hello by leaning on legs, which is highly adorable. Come to Boston to meet his highness!
Please note that Rodell has tested positive for FIV or feline immunodeficiency virus. Many cats with FIV will have a normal lifespan. Because FIV is spread via bite wounds ... Click my picture to read more about me. | Boston Shelter |
