Aspen is a terrific playful cat. His great joys are playing, climbing and batting stuff around. Aspen can be a tad on the "high arousal" side which means he isn't always up for lots of pets. A new home with an experienced cat person and no young children might be the best placement for this young chap. Bub is a sweet and gentle guy looking for a quiet home where he can live as the only cat (at least for now). Bub likes gentle attention and pets on his super soft fur. He does get a little startled with noise but Bub adores sunning himself and looking out windows from his tall cat tree. Rodell likes to strike a regal pose to impress his subjects (which, in his mind, includes all humans). He's a benevolent ruler who left his former kingdom in Texas to conquer new territory in New England. Rodell loves to come say hello by leaning on legs, which is highly adorable. Poor Little Caesar's life starts out sad. He lived much of his life in a basement and really didn't seem to be given much chance to thrive socially. He was scared and upset when he first arrived but with some gentle love and attention, he has been making steady progress. Our staff and volunteers have been working hard to socialize Poppy, and they've made great progress. She still has a way to go, and we're happy to advise and support anyone who wants to add her to their family. This Pearl of a cat lived a lonely life before coming to ARL. She spent most of her time alone in an attic space, and as a result was very shy. She spent some time in foster care, and her foster mom said: "Pearl is doing much better. When she’s really relaxed, she’ll even play with a string and eat churu off your finger." Pearl would do best in a quiet home with patient humans. Come meet this special girl at our Dedham branch.
