Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Braxton is a super playful dog who loves to play with balls. He’s very energetic, funny, and a very good looking dog! As much as he likes to play, he just as much enjoys laying on the couch with you. As far as physical health goes, Braxton has it all. He loves to run, fetch, play tag (he doesn’t want to be tagged, so he’s VERY good at this game). Braxton is an athlete extraordinaire!

On the other hand, Braxton remains incredibly loving and gentle, and even accepting to some strangers. Not sure if this behavior is attributed to the theory that dogs only live in the “here and now” or if he truly has a resilient spirit, but the Shelter and his Foster Family admire him for it nonetheless. Braxton enjoys human interaction and attention.

Braxton’s humor may be unintentional, but it is priceless. Some of the looks he gets on his face, especially if he’s guilty of something, like drinking out of the toilet, are remarkable. Once he gets his mouth on a tennis ball, he’ll often start frolicking with it, batting it around and pouncing on it like a puppy. That is his ball. It’s like his security blanket. Braxton does have a preference to balls, but any other toys or ropes he can chew on, he’s a happy dog. He is strong and prefers to carry a ball everywhere he goes. Everywhere.

Braxton seems to do well with other dogs. We currently have Braxton with our dog, Kodah, who is about his size, a little smaller. Braxton doesn’t seem to be too bothered by another dog around. He doesn’t particularly enjoy Kodah running up to him to play (Kodah LOVES to play, and it can come off a little attack-like), but Braxton just lets Kodah know he’s “not in the mood” and they both calm down and go about their business.

If anyone is interested in meeting Braxton, I would love to show him off!
