Meet Sage, a sweet young Pit Bull Terrier with a heart of gold. Despite her initial fears in the shelter, Sage has blossomed into a trusting companion who adores the company of volunteers and staff. Leashing up is a breeze with her, and she walks like a pro, always checking in with her handler along the way. While she still harbors some fears, Sage is eager to find a patient adopter who can continue to build her confidence. With experience in working with timid dogs, you'll see Sage flourish into the loyal and loving companion she's meant to be. Give Sage the chance she deserves, and watch her bloom into a confident and cherished member of your family.

Sage recently met some social dogs at  our shelter and did fine, but she was pretty shutdown.  We hope that as she has more experience in our shelter playgroups, she'll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs. 


To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
