My name is TRIXY.

I am a neutered male, brown and white Pit Bull Terrier.

I weigh approximately 54.20 lbs.

The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.

I have been at the shelter since Sep 26, 2023 and am ready to go home today!

I am currently in foster care but am available for adoption! If you are interested in adopting me, please email PACC.AdoptAFoster@pima.gov.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Trixy is a happy young boy who lived in a home for several months after being found as a stray. He reportedly did well with other dogs his size, is affectionate, knows tricks, likes car rides and playing in the water, and loves to be near his trusted people. Here’s what some of his friends at the shelter have said about him:

“Trixy is very friendly and puppy-like. He is a nice loose leash walker, active and bouncy without pulling. He is responsive to his handler, will sit nicely when asked, wants to play, and loves being pet. Sweet dog with lots of energy.”

“I took Trixy for a walk today. He is an energetic, playful boy. He walks nicely on leash and is very sweet. He’d be great in an active household.”

Trixy shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit, and is looking for a home without small dogs, cats, or other small pets. Ask to meet Trixy today!
