Hello, my name is Cowboy! I am a sweet and calm boy looking for my new human. I arrived at the shelter as a stray so there is no previous information on me before I came to OCAS. The staff here have discovered that I do very well with other dogs, I love to play and run around with friends. Like many dogs in NC, I am currently heartworm positive. OCAS will be helping by beginning my treatment but you'll need to follow up with your veterinarian! During treatment I will be on an oral medication and will need to get a topical solution monthly until I have a Negative Heartworm Test. If you have any questions about this please ask to speak with a member of the medical staff. |
