Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
09/26/19 10:12 Jprout Sinatra seems to be normal in all other aspects of behavior but attacked a fake/tester dog and was therefore turned down by our on-site rescue the spcaLA. We observed that when reaching for his food dish Sinatra will lunge, growl and attempt to bite... All of this being said, we would recommend being cautious around other dogs, especially when giving food/treats/toys. This is normal/typical behavior for his breed (GShep) however, this behavior is unsafe and will require a savvy adopter.

09/12/19 15:11 Sinatra is a big, beautiful, blue-eyed German Shepherd that was found as a stray. He is very friendly and social towards people but we recommend he be an only-dog. He appears to be frustrated at the shelter and has a difficult time when being returned to his kennel. He needs to exit our facility soon to avoid degressing due to being housed in a shelter environment. JDYER
