Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Honey is an approximately 4 year old female Mastiff who came in to the shelter as a stray. She recently graduated from our Second Chance Dog program, where she impressed her trainers with her bubbly enthusiasm. She also learned new skills like sit, down, stay, and leave it, and worked on positive reinforcement clicker training and her leash skills. While she has spent some time learning to be around other dogs, Honey still needs ongoing work with a positive reinforcement trainer to work at meeting new dogs. Potential adopters with dogs in the home would also need to discuss slow introductions with staff.
