Some dogs just have this essence about them that is joyful & happy, and that is Socks. His joy and kind spirit is contagious. Spending even 30 minutes with Socks in the play yard, brings out smiles and laughter of our Volunteers & Staff. I’m sure you know what we mean by even just scrolling through his smiling and dazzling photos, but trust us - come in and meet him and you will fall in love!

Every moment with Socks is a cuddlefest. He loves people, receiving belly rubs, pets on his pretty gray coat of fur, and giving his people all the affection. When he’s told he’s a good boy, you will see his tail wag and his eyes and ears perk up! And he is the absolute best boy.

Socks is also dog friendly, and he actually has a doggy roommate here at AAC. He thrives on interactions with people and dogs alike, so he is definitely compatible to live in a home with a resident dog already. To ensure compatibility, we will host a doggy meet up with our staff.
