Chauncy is a very special member of our Cactus Cat group! This means he’s on the shy side and requires a patient adopter to help him get used to new places. He seems to get along well with other cats, so he may do well in a home with other feline friends. Chauncy may be scared of hands at first, so it’s best to approach him with a wand toy initially. Once he realizes you aren’t scarey, Chauncy will make biscuits and give some “elevator butt” to show contentment while getting gentle pets. He is currently in clicker training with volunteers to help him build confidence at the shelter and prepare him for his next home! |
