Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Stetson is a resilient, kind hearted and strong pup. He got to AAC as a stray dog. His finder spent a few days with him before he got here and reported that he knows Sit commands, is playful and friendly.

Staff & Volunteers certainly agree. Scroll through his pictures to the end where you will see his playful nature come out. Running around in the play yard, or playing with a stuffed animal toy or bone are sure to make him happy.
When it comes to other dogs, Stetson is a social man! He lives with another dog at the shelter currently, and participates in playgroup. If you have a resident dog and are looking for a little brother, Stetson may be the perfect fit. To ensure compatibility, our staff will host a doggy meet up with your resident dog at AAC.

One year old pups like Stetson offer the opportunity to still shape and mold their behaviors, and to create a strong bond and instill positive habits. At one year old, he has a longer attention span than a baby pup, and has already demonstrated his aptitude for learning commands, so you can bypass some of the new-puppy challenges. Still, you will get to witness the exciting milestones of his growth, like learning tricks, exploring new places, and making a lifetime bond together.
