Pinot came into the shelter with his 3 siblings (Rose, Merlot, and Brut). This litter of kittens had not been exposed to people and were very nervous around them. They have been in foster care learn-ing that people can be kind. Pinot (known for his pink nose) has come a very long way. Initially ter-rified of people, you can now pick him up, put him on your lap, and he will give cuddles. He is still the most nervous of the bunch but with a patient home, he will thrive. When you get him to purr (which is happening more and more often) it is very rewarding. Pinot would do best in a quiet household with one of his siblings (whom he adores!) or another confident cat to continue to teach him that the world isn’t scary.
