Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
ROSCOE'S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN WAIVED

Roscoe is a very outgoing and social kitty who has a long/tall body frame. He purrs with appreciation when you give him attention. His former owner passed away. His face and fur was in bad shape when he first arrived at the shelter, and he was in horrible discomfort. Our vet staff was determined to figure out why and after months of treatment, concluded that he has an allergy. He is on special diet for which he will need to remain on for the rest of his life. He also will need regular allergy shots. So Roscoe is a special needs kitty.

Adopting a special needs kitty is a lot to ask, we know. But if you do so, you will be rewarded with a loving, affectionate, and major LAP CAT! Note that he doesn't seem to like other cats, so will be best as your only kitty in the household.

**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet & greet process, please bring a hard copy of a completed adoption application found here https://animalcare.saccounty.gov/Documents/AdoptionApp_Cats.pdf and provide Animal ID numbers of the kitties you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you too!
