Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
If you’re a history buff, you know that Lou Conter was the last survivor of the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor. And while our Lou is named after an American naval hero, he actually needs a hero of his own! Is it you??
Lou and his pal Ken were found as strays, and while they get along well, they are looking for separate homes. Lou is a people- friendly, happy dog who has been easy to handle while in the shelter. He has lots of typical Husky qualities, so breed experience is always a plus! When meeting other dogs in playgroup he has been social and playful; he’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to makes sure it’s a good fit. If you can be Lou’s hero, ask to meet him today!
