Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
If you’re a history buff, you know that Ken Potts was a World War II veteran and one of the last survivors of the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor. And while our Ken is named after an American naval hero, he actually needs a hero of his own! Is it you??

Ken is a people- friendly, happy dog who has been easy to handle while in the shelter. He has lots of typical Husky qualities, so breed experience is always a plus! Here’s what one volunteer said:

“I took Ken Potts for a walk this morning and found him to be easy to leash and a dream walker. He took treats gently and accepted petting. All around a very mellow young pup.”

When meeting other dogs in playgroup Ken has been social and playful; he’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to makes sure it’s a good fit. If you can be Ken’s hero, ask to meet him today!
