Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Carlos is a handsome young pup who has earned himself a pretty big fan club at the shelter. Here’s what a few of his friends have said:

“Carlos is so well behaved. He can be jumpy in his kennel, but don’t be fooled- outside in a regular environment, Carlos is an angel. He is a great listener and has amazing leash manners. Carlos knows how to heel and is also a great jogging companion. Carlos is very gentle when he takes treats. He is food- motivated, making him very easy to train. He knows how to sit and stay. We were working on "leave it" and he picked it up quickly. Carlos is very attentive. He is so easy going and is content to walk, sniff, sit and just relax. He will cuddle and enjoys petting. Carlos is an amazing boy and would make a great pet for a family!

“Carlos was a fun boy to have out in the yard with his kennelmate. He first ran around exploring the yard, sniffing a bit, then he tried to initiate some play with me- very cute! He sat nicely for treats and took them gently; once he knew I had treats he offered paw repeatedly to get some. After a while he and his kennelmate engaged in several plays sessions. Very fun sweet boy!”

“Carlos is a really sweet boy and was a loose leash walker. I took him in the play yard and he sniffed around but kept coming back to me to check in. He seems very people-oriented and regularly came to seek affection. He was interested in treats and took them very gently from my hand. I threw a tennis ball and he chased it and brought it back to me; he had a gentle mouth and I had no problem getting the ball back. Carlos has sweet, lab-like energy and is an all-around nice boy. He’s so easygoing and calm. I really like Carlos! Definitely one of my new favorites!”

Carlos shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Rayray today!!
