Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Sampson is a big handsome boy who is ready to leave the shelter behind for greener pastures!! Anatolian Shepherds are smart, devoted, and adaptable, known for their protective nature. All Sampson is missing is a family to devote himself to! Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:

“Sampson and I had a very nice walk today. He is a polite walker, no pulling. He knows sit and takes treats very nicely.”

Sampson also went on a field trip to explore Tucson a bit:

“Sampson exceeded my expectations! He walks well on a gentle leader and likes toys. He has plenty of energy as expected for such a young pup. He rode well in the car and followed my lead.”

Sampson would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Sampson today!
