EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM 03/12/24
Name: Bean
Animal ID: A822999
Age: 2 years
Weight: 52.40 lbs.
About: This sweet, compact cutie, Bean is going on Emergency Placement Deadline for 3pm 03/12/24. She will be available for foster or adoption through PACC.

Sweet Bean was originally brought to PACC as a stray in October 2023. She was adopted about two months later and spent a month in her new adopted home before being returned to PACC.
Bean has gone on multiple day trips and has received an A+ each time. here’s where she’s been:

- To get a pup cup and explore the U of A mall
- To go on a walk and meet new friends
- To Starbucks and to watch a movie
- On a hike
- On a sleepover where she got to sleep in until noon

Here in the shelter Bean is pretty popular - here’s what volunteers had to say:

“Bean is a super cute, stocky little thing. When we were out and about, she wanted to sniff all the smells. Bean was easy to get back in her kennel and is a nice ‘lil girl.”

Bean has been described as sociable, fun, mellow, and cuddly. She enjoys being outdoors, does well on leash, and is good in the car. She’s encountered kids on her field trips and did well.

Recently, Bean has been showing signs of decline due to shelter stress. Which unfortunately has resulted in her now having a minor bite on her record. The bite occurred when trying to take Bean out of her kennel, she gets frustrated with all the barking dogs and when walking past them she overstimulated and redirected her energy towards the person who was walking her. When Bean is away from the loud kennels with barking dogs, she relaxes and gets to enjoy her walk around the lake.
Bean will need to meet any dogs that she will be living with, she has had some incidents both out of the shelter as well as in the shelter with other dogs. She might dog best in a home that doesn’t have other pets.
If you are interested in meeting Bean please come to PACC before 3pm 03/12/24 and ask to meet her.
