Zoey is a little house hippo looking for savvy family and a secure yard to keep her safe and sound! This little tator tot is a bouncy, energetic, and fun pup with perky ears that deserved their own zip code! She’ll do great in a home where she gets plenty of mental and physical exercise- and don’t forget cuddles from her family!! Zoey was at PACC previously and was adopted, so we were all heartbroken when she recently turned up as a stray. This girl truly deserves a stable home she’ll be a big part of her family’s daily life. Here’s what Zoey’s volunteer friends have said about her:

“Today was my first time walking Zoey. She was eager to get out of the kennel but calmly walked straight down the middle of the aisle full of dogs on either side. On the walk I sat down at a picnic table and offered her pets and affection. She put her front paws on my lap and leaned into the pets, giving me gentle licks to my face. Her ears are definitely a glorious sight to behold. I quickly fell in love with this sweet little potato.”

“Zoey and I had an excellent morning walk yesterday at our very first time meeting. She was easy to leash from outside the kennel, and we quickly exited the kennel area. Once outside, she walked on a loose leash. Zoey’s body language was loose and waggy, becoming more and more friendly all the time and looking at me with soft eyes. We stopped at a ramada and she leaned in for petting and gave me the most gorgeous smile. She took treats gently. This girl has already won my heart!”

“Today was my first time meeting and walking Zoey- she walks great on leash with no pulling. She knows several cues- Sit, Look, Shake, Come, Touch, Down and Roll Over. She is so cute- and she loves a belly rub!!”

Zoey would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. She may also do best in a home without young kiddos. Please ask to meet Zoey today!!
