Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

Hi, I'm Charlotte. I arrived to the shelter after being hit by a car. I was in pretty bad shape but the shelter vet staff helped me get better. The vet staff also discovered I am heartworm positive, but they have been giving me special medicine. I will require monthly medication year round.

Now that I'm physically healed from my traumatic experience, I'm looking for a forever home to relax and decompress in. The staff and volunteers here describe me as a "total sweetie pie". I haven't been tested with other dogs at the shelter, but I would love to meet you.

To meet me, please make an appointment with our adoption staff by calling, 916-875-2287. The appointment phone lines are open Tuesday-Sunday from 9:30am to 3:30pm. (closed Monday and holidays). Be prepared to give the shelter representative my animal ID number, which is A800890. The phones get busy, so if you don’t get through right away, keep trying. We’re working hard to provide each potential adopter with excellent customer service!
