I am a male, tan Labrador Retriever and Rottweiler.

I weigh approximately 61.20 lbs.

The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 9 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Oct 20, 2023 and ready for adoption!

I am currently in foster care but am available for adoption! If you are interested in adopting me, please email PACC.AdoptAFoster@pima.gov.

Meet Rosco! This handsome large friend is looking for his forever home! He has spent some time in foster and here is what we know!


Would you say this animal is vocal, quiet or somewhere in between? Somewhere in between. He whines sometimes. He barks when people come into the house or when we are outside in the yard and someone walks by. He doesn’t bark when we are walking though.
• Was this animal around KIDS (if so, please describe their reaction): He does not live with kids, and he met one once and was not happy about it!
• Was this animal around CATS (if so, please describe their reaction): Yes, he mostly leaves her alone. Sometimes he gets curious about her.
• Was this animal around DOGS (if so, please describe their reaction): He is leash reactive on walks but he does well with other dogs at the dog park!
• How would you describe your home environment (calm, busy, chaotic, etc) Pretty calm
• Does s/he have any behavioral issues that you are aware of? Sometimes he lunges at other dogs when walking.
• Is s/he fearful of any objects, situations, or people? (if so, describe) Yes, sometimes he gets nervous about people when walking.
• When left alone, where does s/he sleep? On the couch
• Is this animal house-trained or litter box trained? Yes
• What toys, if any, does your foster enjoy playing with? Durable chew toys
• If a DOG, is this animal crate-trained? Unknown
• If a DOG, describe their leash behavior: he does pull sometimes
• What words and qualities best describe your foster (friendly, reserved, cuddly, couch potato, etc)? Active, goofy, energetic, sweet
