Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Rosie is still just a pup at about a year and a half old and is looking for a loving family who will help her grow up to be her very best self! With the right combination of love, structure, and training, the sky is the limit for this sweet girl!! Here’s what one volunteer had to say about her:

“Rosie was excited in her kennel but settled down pretty quickly once out of the gate. She’s very treat-motivated and sits nicely without being asked. I took her to the grooming room to give her a bath. She was a little unsure at first, but I just gave her some treats and then she was great; she eventually just rested her head on my arm. Rosie is a great example of a dog who shows poorly in her kennel but is like a different dog once out. Rosie has a TON of potential with an owner who can keep her brain engaged. I like her a lot!”

Rosie spent a few months in a home where she was crate trained and did well with kids. This smart girl needs a family who will keep her mind and body busy with enrichment activities and exercise.

When meeting other dogs in playgroup Rosie was social and tolerant. She needs a home without cats or other small critters that are a bit too fun to chase. Please ask to meet Rosie today!
