EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE by 3PM MAY 3, 2024

Name: Cleo
Animal ID: A769023
Age: 7 years
Weight: 89 lbs.

About: Cleo will need to find placement with either a foster or an adopter before 3pm on May 3, 2024, through PACC.

Cleo first came to PACC as an owner surrender in February 2022; she was getting into altercations with the other female dog in the home, when Cleo was trying to steal her puppies. Cleo found an adopter about a month later but sadly found her way back to the shelter as a stray in March 2024.

While in the shelter, Cleo has been on numerous day trips and done well on all of them! She has been described as funny, social, and laid back. She loves to ride in the car, is leash trained, and is a mellow couch potato. Cleo enjoyed picking out a movie in Bookmans, got her paws wet in a big-girl pool, is an excellent sniff-spector of the shelves in Home Depot and Petsmart, and a very discerning shopper. She has been very sweet with people that have taken her out.

Cleo is looking for a home with no small animals and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Cleo has gone to playgroups to meet other dogs; she kept to herself and prefers playing in the pool rather than playing with the other dogs. While here in the shelter Cleo does not like to share her kennel space, she has been in a couple of altercations that resulted in the other dogs having injuries. Cleo would HAVE to meet any dogs that she would be going home with, to be sure it would be a good fit.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Cleo, you MUST come to PACC before her 3pm deadline on 05/03/24 to meet with one of our councilors to go over all her history and then meet Cleo in a yard.
