This handsome shepherd mix (kelpie mix?, shiba inu mix?) is full of joy & has so much potential. Dylan is a young dog that has likely never had a caring owner to offer any love, stability or guidance. He was brought to the shelter by a good samaritan concerned for his safety after he was reportedly being given away for free in an alleyway. Dylan has a lot of puppy energy in an adult body & will need an active owner to provide long walks/runs & plenty of playtimes. He will also need a patient, dog-savvy person willing to give him the time he needs to decompress from his less than ideal life experiences so far, to establish a routine & to teach him how to be the best Dylan he can be. He loves toys, is very sweet & loves attention, leaning into you to remind you to continue with the petting! He’s done well with playgroups with dogs of a similar energy level & play-style & with a proper introduction we feel he could do well with a sibling dog. |
