Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Addy was brought to us as an injured community cat. She has undergone a long healing process from her wounds, and prefers an environment where she can keep to herself and be a friend to other cats.

Read what her foster has to say about her:

What type of food does this animal prefer?
Addy likes Tiny Tiger and Fancy Feast. She likes the puree treats and wet food, but does not like pate. She can be very finicky about food.

Would you say this animal is vocal, quiet or somewhere in between?
Most of the time she is quiet. She meows a little bit when she is playing. If something disturbs her, like a dog getting in her space, she may meow loudly.

Was this animal around KIDS (if so, please describe their reaction):
She hides.

Was this animal around CATS (if so, please describe their reaction):
Addy is good with most cats, but she can be a bully towards cats that don't stand their ground with her.

Was this animal around DOGS (if so, please describe their reaction):
She is fine with dogs as long as they don't try to interact with her.

How would you describe your home environment (calm, busy, chaotic, etc)
My home environment is very calm.

Does s/he have any behavioral issues that you are aware of?
Addy was a colony cat for 12 years and she doesn't like to be touched. She has made great progress, but still hasn't gotten to the point where she will tolerate petting.

Is s/he fearful of any objects, situations, or people? (if so, describe)
She hides when anything unfamiliar is happening. We only recently got to the point where she doesn't dash away when I walk nearby.

When left alone, where does s/he sleep?
She likes to sleep in the top hammock of her cat tree, or under the TV console.

Is this animal house-trained or litter box trained?
Yes.

What toys, if any, does your foster enjoy playing with?
She likes quiet toys, not fond of bells. Loves rattle mice, ping pong balls and is obsessed with the bird teaser from chewy.

What words and qualities best describe your foster (friendly, reserved, cuddly, couch potato, etc)?
She is reserved but definitely has an attitude and personality. She is a funny, quirky cat who is surprisingly spry and playful for her age. When she gets going on her toys she acts like a little kitten.
