Hi! I'm Browlina, I am described by volunteers as shy but super sweet! I have shown staff and volunteers that I can make friends with other dogs so given the proper intro I may do well having a doggy friend in the home! I also went on a doggie day out adventure with a volunteer on 4/27 and did GREAT! Here is what the volunteer had to say "She was shy but after being with her for an hour she opened up. She would even jump on me and get excited. She loved food and ate some treats from petsmart and also she had a Pupacino. She enjoys being petted and attention but also sleepy in the car. She would look out the window and then fall alseep. She was good on walks but would stop and smell a lot. She was a somewhat scared of loud noises and also seemed over stimulated with big crowds and wanted to stop and look at everyone. She became a little shy when there was a large group of people in Home Depot but she remained calm the whole time. She was also shy when meeting new people but super sweet and kind. I loved spending time with her and she would be a great dog to adopt. She also doesn’t mind getting picked up to be put into the car and to get out the car." i went on another doggie day out adventure with a volunteer on 5/11 and ALSO did great! They said "We went for a walk, went to brunch where she did great. Sat next to the table did not interfere with the food, let everyone say hi, sat next to multiple dogs with little to no reaction. Whines a little at the bigger dog but easy deterred with treats. We went to the pet store and gave her a bath which she didn’t love but did great no big reaction just let us do it. Came back to our house and hung out in the yard and on the couch, she came out of her shell when we saw a squirrel in the back yard. Gave her some big treats and we cuddled till it was time to go. She will make an excellent companion, has such an amazing temperament and sweet demeanor." I also showed the doggie day out volunteer that I may do well with kids as I met 2 and was very gentle with them. Please come meet me today!
5/10/24 - If you’re looking for a cuddly dog with a unique look, Browlina is your girl! She will get into your lap and ask for belly rubs and any tasty treats you have on hand – which she’ll gently accept. While she’s not a fan of loud noises, in the near month she’s been at the shelter, this calm 11-month-old has come out of her shell and has learned how to walk easily on a leash. She loves people and has been paired well with other large dogs after a proper introduction. She has also done well around little kids and would do best in a home without cats and other small animals, as she finds them a bit too interesting.
