My name is Squirmy worm and I am a female, brown brindle Pit Bull Terrier.

The shelter staff think I am about 7 months old.

THIS ANIMAL IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

We are open 7 days a week from 12 pm – 5 pm for walk-in adoptions.

When you decide which animal you want to meet, join our virtual waitlist (follow instructions on the sign in front of the shelter to join using your phone).

If you don't have a smartphone, a staff member can put you on the waitlist after we open.

I have been at the shelter since Apr 11, 2024.

My name is Squirmy Wormy!
I am not sure I'm a fan of that name but it does fit me. I am a squirmy girl and can get a little jumpy due to excitement and the need to get out! I am very sweet once you get me out of my kennel, but I can seem a bit too excited to go on a walk, so sorry if it takes a minute to get my leash on. I also love playing fetch and toys. I know they're out in the play yard so that's why I get antsy. And for sure I love me some pets. I'm still learning commands but overall I'm a very happy girl, and I at least know how to auto-sit for treats! Once I'm out of my kennel I walk nicely at a brisk pace, according to one volunteer. Come meet me today!
