Brief Bio Barbie along with her siblings were collected from a feral colony. Her mom was spayed and returned. Barbie has been in foster care since Feb 4th when she was picked up in a trap. She remains a little scared and shy but she does enjoy petting and brushing and sitting on your lap. She does not willingly allow me to walk up and pick her up, Still too shy for that but when I do pick her up she purrs and enjoys ear rubs and petting. I would recommend a A quieter home with no small children. She has not been around small children or a great many different adults besides me. Her foster mom and She has not met a dog yet. She will be shy and scared when she gets adopted. I recommend she be placed in a small room with food water and litter box where you can go and sit on the floor and use a wand toy until she gets to know you or she will hide under furniture for quite some time. Summary of Personality She is sweet but scared and needs a very patient person to give her the time she needs to be comfortable in a new environment. She loves to wrestle and play with her brother and likes all cat toys. She would like another cat or kitten as a buddy. Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc) Her foster mom is a single person so Barbie has not had interaction with children or dogs. She is shy with visitors to my house. And is learning to be more comfortable with being picked up That prefers to play with a wand toy or cat mice Is your foster litter box trained? Yes |
