Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Pearl gets along with other cats but I don't know how she is with dogs or children. Pearl is quite talkative and is not bashful about expressing herself when she wants something or is displeased with another cat. She is cuddly and affectionate and often jumps on my lap without much prompting from me. She does enjoy sitting or laying on me and getting her daily dose of petting.

Pearl likes to play with toys I have that have something on the end of a stick. She seems most interested in toys that require interaction rather than balls or things like that. She is moderately active and won't tire you out. One of the cutest things about Pearl is that she comes on my bed unannounced and sleeps on the pillow next to my head. If my other cats are there, she tries to nudge them a little bit so she can get closer to me.

Pearl loves to explore and always wants to find out what is behind a closed door. She also likes to find quiet and secret places for her "cat-naps." Although she has adapted to my house and other cats, I do think Pearl would be happy in a home with no more than three or four other animals. I have more than that and, although Pearl is OK with that, I think she likes to find secret places to be by herself.

Pearl is very good about getting her insulin shots twice a day. Pearl likes to sleep in my walk-in closet on a shelf. When it is time for food, I open the closet door and just signal with my hands, and she comes out to eat her wet food. She is very neat with the dry food that is always out for her and is also very clean about herself and the litter box.

Overall, Pearl is a loving, curious, and sweet little girl who would be a perfect cat for someone who loves a special needs girl like Pearl.
