Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

Looking for pleasant company? Piper, who has this incredible eye contact, is a sweet, happy, uncomplicated, good looking girl. This kind girl is satisfied enough to just hang around with her people.

When Piper was first here, she was very rambunctious, but has calmed down. Because she is receptive to our behavior corrections, she has slowly gotten much better about jumping up to greet people. Her walks with a leash have vastly improved. We just have to wait for her dance routine to finish before we hook up her leash. On our walks she doesn't react to other dogs barking or growling at her. She is house broken. Even though she is crate trained, we can leave her alone in the house with no problems.

Our garden crew who came in the yard while we were gone texted. "She did so well!!!!!!!!. She was scared at first but came around and was wonderful! She didn't jump or anything. She didn't have a problem with the loud blower either."

Piper is a good car rider and was well behaved on our trips to PETCO, Starbucks and the nursery.
Piper has lived previously with children, (3 and 6 years old).

Such a wonderful relaxing friend, she loves being rubbed and leaning over the tub with me to watch me wash my hair or scrub the tub. Piper enjoys tug-o-war and will appear with the rope in her mouth when she is ready to play.
