EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM 03/12/24
Name: Rosco
Animal ID: A625474
Age: 6 years
Weight: 77 lbs.
About: Meet Rosco, he has had a rough life and unfortunately will be on an Emergency Placement Deadline for 3pm 03/12/24. The last time Rosco was in the shelter was in 2021.

Unfortunately, Rosco only came back to the shelter due to his previous owner sadly passing away and next of kin is unable to take Rosco. Rosco did have a couple previous owners who only had him for short periods of time (less than a year). In both previous homes Rosco lived with kids, in the first home he was younger, so he had more energy and wanted to jump on the kids and knock them down, he loved playing with stuffed toys. He, however, didn’t do well with a smaller dog that he was introduced to in a home.

His first time at PACC he was introduced to dogs in a playgroup, he was a little nervous and did over correct slightly. This time when he was meeting dogs in playgroup he did well and is now co-housed.

Rosco does have three documented bites on his record, all three were strangers entering his home. Rosco will need to be secured in a crate or separate room when visitors enter the home. He has valley fever and is being treated with medications.

This handsome, sweet, tripod boy needs to find his fur-ever home! If you think your home would be the right fit, please come to PACC before 3pm on 03/12/24 and ask to meet him.
