Billy exudes joy…he can barely contain his excitement so he literally jumps for joy. Billy needs more exercise than he’s getting in the shelter. He’s young and energetic and the shelter is no place for him! He pulls on leash, but walked a little bit better after his initial burst of energy was spent. He wasn’t into toys, which surprised me, so we spent a little time tossing treats for him to chase and find. He’s a great candidate for a puzzle toy!! Mental note to bring one for him next week! Billy doesn’t know any commands but with his food motivation, he can likely learn quickly. His tail never stopped wagging. To offer thanks for his time out of his kennel, he put his paws up on my lap and offered chin kisses. Much appreciated, happy boy.
