Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
It’s easy to see how Sweetness got her name…what a cutie pie. She’s got some skin issues with some missing fur on her legs. She’s pretty good on leash, but did pause on our walk when my poop bags caught her eye and she thought it would be fun to pull them out of the dispenser…silly girl! But then she pooped, so clearly she was just helping make sure I scooped that poop! Sweetness’s upper canines look like they’re broken so she’d definitely benefit from a dental exam to make sure those teeth aren’t causing her pain or need to be removed. She LOVED playing with her plush toy. She also enjoys her treats…she prefers soft ones to hard ones…maybe because of her teeth. It’s so nice to give the dogs a much-deserved break from the stress of the kennel and just shower them with toys, treat and some one-on-one attention. We can’t dog test, but Sweetness didn’t fuss at any of the kenneled dogs we passed on the way out…she just trotted past, wagging her tail. Sweetness sounded like she was getting an URI so she was moved to the isolation room where she can be monitored more closely.
