Oh my goodness, Roger has the cutest smooshy face and big lips. I just want to smother him in love, and he seems like the kind of dog that would be pretty ok with it! Roger has probably had some previous house training as his kennel was very clean and he used the bathroom immediately after getting outside, multiple times. Roger walks well on the leash with only occasional pulling, and he seems plenty happy to take lots of walk breaks and show me his “sit” and “wait” cues on command. He also loves to stop for pets and joyfully leaned against me as I petted him. Roger has a funny looking stumpy tail that appears to have been broken, possibly in several places. Despite his tail’s appearance, he wags it all the same and doesn’t seem to mind me handling it. Roger takes treats gently and didn’t jump up on me a single time that I had him outside for our walk. Because of his low-to the ground stature and the fact that he’s not jumpy or mouthy, he could do well in a home with children, assuming proper parental supervision.
