The shelter literally has a dog for everyone. If you’re looking for an arm workout on walks, Coal is your dog! Poor guy was in the isolation room for a while, and those dogs don’t get walks, so his high energy is understandable. Coal has a lot of energy (color me jealous!) and is wondering when the doggie Olympics are! He tried to balance himself on the back of the bench in the outside run, but his landing wasn’t that graceful, so we need more practice. In the interaction room, he calmed down nicely after a play session with a toy. Coal loves treats and is, what we call, a “certified wiggle butt”. A very happy boy. When he lays down, he tucks his front pawsies under his chest…very cute. Coal doesn’t know any commands (yet…we’ll keep working with him). We can’t dog test, but he didn’t fuss at any other kenneled dog on our way outside. Are you an outdoorsy type looking for a dog to take on many fun adventures?
