Awww…sweet shy Charlotte is very timid, but sweet. She was a little reluctant getting leashed up, but she mustered up the courage to go for a walk. Outside she doesn’t pull on leash at all. She actually walks very close to you, so a couple times I bumped her paws with my feet when we were walking. Sorry!! She did come in with another dog who has since been adopted. Charlotte didn’t fuss at other dogs when we passed their kennels. I would think she would do well with another friendly dog who could help to build up her confidence. Charlotte didn’t want to walk far outside and when we were in the outside pen, she whimpered to go inside. In the interaction room, she definitely relaxed and her tail wasn’t tucked as much. She does like treats so that helped to relax her enough to actually pick up a toy a few times! Baby steps, Charlotte…we’ll keep working with you.
