Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Dakota has the most precious puppy eyes that I had to double check her age! She is a young adult dog but also knows how to turn on the charm and she does it so well that I pretty much would give her whatever she wants! Dakota pulls a little on the leash in her enthusiasm to get outside, but pulls less the longer we are out. She met another dog on leash and both girls were wiggly and appropriately social as they exchanged sniffs and then went on their separate ways. Dakota would do well in many homes and she seems to have had some previous training (she knows "sit" and "wait") AND she has this lovely ability to communicate - she "showed" me which toy she wanted to play with by doing an enthusiastic play bow in front of the toy! She also "showed" me when she was done playing and ready to be leashed up by waiting and then pawing at the door to the run. Smart girl! Dakota would make a lovely family member for many homes, so if her puppy eyes speak to you, definitely come meet her as soon as possible!
Behavior Notes: Dakota met Rory A545806 on leash and both girls were appropriately wiggly and exchanged sniffs and no aggression was seen.

Feeling down?? Let Dakota perk you up! This high spirited pup has a lot of wiggles and love to give.
