Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
04/02/24 16:47 Good girl. Was very happy and easy to handle during impound. Walked on a leash good too.
04/12/24 10:31 sweet and ok for visit, she is stressed and becoming kennel reactive. Moved to D row were she will be less stimulated. Good girl.
04/23/24 09:40 Pet is stressed and over stimulated. Moved her to isolation over the weekend to help. Unfortunately, she is not doing as well in isolation as we hoped. She is also showing signs of Kennel Cough with conjunctivitis. Saturday was really rough for her. She knows her sit and stay commands but is now ignoring them.
04/24/24 08:40 Took her for a walk today. She ignored me at first and just put her nose to the ground and walked. After walking for a few minutes and getting all the noise and stress from the kennels out of her system, I called to her and she came right over. Sat in front of me and allowed for pets and scratches. After few pets, scratches and telling her what a good girl she was, we continued on our walk. She pulled just a little, continuing to sniff the ground. When cars drove by, she stopped, scared of their loud noise, so I stopped, petted and scratched, told her what a good girl she was to distract from the loud engine noises of the cars driving by and we waited. Once gone, we started again and made it back without issue. Very sweet girl, just stressed and fearful of loud noises which are nearly impossible to get away from in a shelter. She needs out.
