Hi, my name is Eli and I am a 3-year-old pitbull mix. I'm hoping to find a safe, secure forever home to finally call my own. I am a gentle guy who may be shy upon first meeting, but after warming up to you, I'm happy to sit right by your side for some attention. I already know how to sit, and I love treats, so with time and training I could easily master any trick in the book. My ideal family is a patient one who will regularly walk, exercise and play with me, as my current mellow energy level may increase once I'm out of the shelter and become more comfortable in letting my personality shine. At this time, it's unknown how well I do with cats, and I should be properly introduced to any other dog in the home prior to adoption. Once I come out of my shell, I just might be the goofiest, sweetest companion you've ever known, so please consider giving me a second chance at finding my true best friend forever!
