|MINI MOO - ID#A416341|
I am a neutered male, black Angus.
Shelter staff think I am about 13 years old.
I have been at the shelter since Nov 12, 2004.
This information is less than 1 hour old.
Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Mini Moo has been retired from the Longmeadow Barn Buddy Program. He has matured into a pretty large steer and he is not as easily transported to events. He would make a good pasture buddy although he doesn't seem to bond with the horses. He would like to have other cattle friends, but he can not ever be used for his meat. He will help eat plants in your pasture that the horses pick around. He is halter trained although he can be hard to catch. He does like grain so he can be easily convinced. He loads into a stock trailer and is up to date on vaccinations and deworming.
Mini Moo first came to Longmeadow in 2004 with many other assorted farm animals. He was the only calf and he was very small. He was neglected and needed a fresh start in life. He was rehabilitated at Longmeadow and was a great mascot. Now he is looking for his forever home.
Good news 2017: Mini Moo's best friend, Kelso, has also been retired from the Barn Buddy program. Now they can be adopted together. In fact we have decided that they MUST be adopted together because they are so bonded to each other.
Adoption fee: $250 for both steer
