Meet Gruyere, also known as Fancy Cheese Gary! ?? Gruyere is a sweet, playful, snuggly boy waiting patiently to find his forever home. He’s easily a volunteer favorite and has so much love to give. At just 1 year old, Gruyere is a pretty petite pittie mix (try saying that 5x fast!), weighing around 46 lbs. If we were handing out awards for “best ears” or “cutest head tilt,” Gruyere would be in 1st place. Described as a chill pup with medium energy, he enjoys playing with toys as much as he cherishes nap time. He loves cuddling up next to volunteers and gladly rolls over for full belly rubs after a walk. When he first came to MACC, he was pretty shy, so he’d prefer a home with no small kiddos. Despite showing some barrier frustration in the shelter, he LOVES playing with his friends in playgroups. Just like bringing any dog home, he should have slow introductions to other resident animals.
