If you are looking for a dog who will go full heart-eyes emoji every time you walk in a room, Wilbur is your guy. Wilbur is a super big lover. He is a great example of how resilient dogs are. He had no hesitations about making himself at home right away. And he greets everyone like his new best friend. He is a total sweetheart lazy bones most of the day—I am able to work from home on the couch next to him without any interruptions, Zoom meetings included. But he also is a real “dog’s dog” with fun bursts of feisty puppy energy and would love a family who is excited to be a part of playtime. At a little over a year old, he is at the tail end (pun intended) of his puppy years: old enough to be completely house broken and sleep through the night (he doesn’t even wake up at the first alarm!), but young enough to be easy to train and have fun puppy energy. You’ll know that you found your furr-ever friend when he makes his patented “velociraptor” happy squeal, belly to the sky, with a big goofy grin.
