Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: |
Rocky A315910 is an adult pitbull who was surrendered to the shelter because his owner felt they didn’t have enough time to give him the attention he needed. They had him since he was a puppy and said he was good with adults and children, okay around other dogs but didn’t have experience with cats, is fully housebroken, pulls when on a leash, and is good on car rides. Since he came in already neutered and microchipped, we’ll make sure he is up to date on his necessary vaccinations before going to his new home. So all he needs is the right family to give him a chance, and give him a loving forever home. Volunteers note that Rocky is a calm and quiet dog most of the time, Although Rocky is a big strong dog he walks well on the leash without pulling. Rocky tends to be shy at first but warms up with treats and butt rubs. Rocky will sometimes resist going back to cage but will ultimately comply.
