Meet Shwayze! He came into the Shelter as an owner surrender after his previous guardian was unable to continue caring for him. Shwayze has been hanging out in a foster home so we can get to know a bit about him in a home-like environment. His foster reports: "Shwayze is a very good boy. He loves going for walks & taking car rides. He is gentle around the cats & only mildly curious unless they run from him. He is potty trained completely & sleeps through the night on the couch. He knows sit, down & come. He has played with other dogs well & he definitely wants a buddy to run around with. He is an exceptional snugger & doesn’t quite believe that he is 90 lbs." Shwayze is an easy going guy that would do well in a variety of homes. Any resident dogs should meet at the Shelter prior to adoption. A dog-savvy cat paired with a thoughtful, slow introduction may also be a fit. If you are looking for an overall good boy to be your sidekick - look no further than Shwayze!
