"PINKY" - ID#A296599

My name is "PINKY".

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Fate doesn't ask what you want, fate knows what's best. On a cold day in early December we believe that fate brought a cat that we have named Pinky into our care. The SPCA received a call from a concerned citizen about and injured stray cat that just appeared in her yard. Our staff responded to this call for help and discovered a sweet, but frail cat with a large open mass on her head. We transported Pinky to our shelter and our veterinary team wasted no time in providing her with the medical care that she so desperately needed. A large tumor, about the size of a baseball, was removed from her head & face. We don't know where Pinky came from, how long she had been suffering, or how she ended up in that woman's yard that day, but we do know that day changed her life forever. The tumor has been surgically removed and unfortunately it was cancerous. The type of cancer is typically locally invasive, but there is a possibility that it may recur and metastatic potential is low. Pinky has recovered from her surgery and she is now ready to find a forever home. We don't know how long forever is with Pinky, but we know that she deserves a loving, indoor only home where she will be cherished. Fate decides who comes into our lives, but your heart decides who stays. Is there room in your heart for Pinky?
If you're interested in meeting and potentially adopting her, please fill out an application located on our website main page under "Temporary Adoption Policies." If you're not in a position to adopt please share her post to help us find her a great home. Pinky is currently housed at our Perkiomenville facility.
