Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
MEET MAGGIE!

Maggie came to us with her many sisters and loves the company of other piggies. She is currently living with Gala but would be happy to live with a new piggie friend after a slow introduction. Because guienea pigs are social creatures, she will need to have another guinea pig in her new home.

Like any pet, guinea pigs require a lot of care and attention. It is important to familiarize yourself with their daily and long-term needs before adopting a new pig. Since guinea pigs are prey animals, they'll need a little extra time and patience adjusting to their surroundings before their unique personalities can truly shine! Guinea pigs are talkative and clever, and make wonderful companions when they've bonded with you!

In order to adopt, we will need to approve a photo of the enclosure Maggie will be living in before you take her home.

Maggie has been seen by our vet team.
