Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Belle and Lady are two fun girls seeking a human who can make room for both of them in their heart and home. These girls were previously adopted out separately and surrendered as a bonded pair due to their human's life circumstances. They want nothing more than to be settled back into a home together. They have been good with other dogs at the shelter and have been able to share a bowl of food, so they should be able to join a household with other dogs. Come fall in love with each of them <3

Belle is such a sweet girl. She has exhibited a great deal of anxiety in the circumstances she find herself in here but after 5 minutes in an office after whining and trying to scratch her way onto a lap, she settled beautifully on a bed and had no issues with the office occupant coming and going. She curled up and went to sleep, not allowing things to bother her again.

She may require a little bit of time to settle in to her new environment, but once she does, she is going to be the very best friend you've ever had. She is a professional heart string tugger and has every volunteer and staffer wrapped around her finger. All you need to do is meet her to see why.

Belle has lived with other dogs and done well. During her evaluation, she met 3 other dogs all at once and cohabited playfully in an office with them. This girl has had quite the chaotic life but seems to have weathered the storm with grace and character. She's ready to find some stability and is thoroughly prepped to give and receive love, loyalty, affection and a lifetime of devotion. TB/JP
